Each of the plans in our portfolio as well as our custom designs may be specified in numerous exterior finishes, the most popular of which is composite siding with brick being second. Each of these illustrations are standard plans that are modified to include brick on the exterior and are trimmed appropriately.
Brick is virtually maintenance free, has superior structural properties, and is unmatched for its curb appeal. Brick colors and finishes vary widely and can be further enhanced with creative choices of lay patterns and trim, mortar colors, and joint tooling. Brick is often used to enhance a front elevation as well as diversify an exterior finish.
Modifications to standard plans to include brick require footing and foundation, roof, window and door, and structural changes particularly if the brick is included on roof borne structures, such as dormers.
